How You Can Get Involved

Everyone can be great because anyone can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t even have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve… You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love…
– Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Volunteering at the Human Services Campus is a very rewarding way to be a part of life-changing work. We are always in need of thoughtful, compassionate, caring individuals willing to donate their time to one of our many partner agencies and programs. We can accommodate any size volunteer group from individuals to hundreds. We have recurring opportunities as well as one-time projects. We need volunteers willing to share their professional skill sets in addition to volunteers willing to do more “traditional” projects such as donation sorting, meal serving, etc. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.

Community Partners’ Corner
St. Patrick’s Catholic Church has been serving meals on Campus for several years now. It has been a terrific experience for our clients, staff, and St. Patricks’ parishioners. After a recent barbeque, one of the group’s leaders’, Bob, had this to say, “We chose to work with the Campus because it’s a controllable environment. We can serve the most and get the most out of our time. It is much more organized, getting volunteers is easier, and the area is staffed and safe. In fact we’ve just expanded to serving at the Justa Center and on Veterans’ Day!”
